At DORO, I am called in for site monitoring and internal safety and prevention advice. I find the variety of people and projects very enriching.

Implementing a safety culture within a company or team is not always obvious. In the beginning, people often interpret advice on prevention and well-being as criticism. I then see it as my mission to turn that feeling around and get everyone on board. The tipping point when everyone starts to realise that we are saving people's lives is where I get a great deal of satisfaction.

Prevention and safety is a way of life, it's ingrained in my DNA. When my daughters take the stairs, I ask them to hold the handrail every time. Or when we cycle to school: they know I'm not leaving without a helmet and fluorescent jacket. It can save your life.
